X RayX-ray images are used in many different ways in medical diagnosis.  An x-ray image is produced when a small amount of radiation passes through the body.  One of the most common uses of x-ray technology is to evaluate broken bones or arthritis.  X-rays can also be used to diagnose many types of cancers including sarcomas, lymphomas and lung cancers.

An x-ray can typically be performed in about 5 minutes and causes no discomfort.

X-ray radiation should be avoided during pregnancy. If you are pregnant or may be pregnant, please alert our staff upon entering our office.
